The Ball is Rolling…

Wow…what a difference a week makes! Jon and I have decided on and purchased kitchen cabinets and countertops, not mention settled on the layout, purchased our hardware and met with an electrician! The clock is now ticking as we await the arrival of our new, Martha Stewart Ox Hill cabinets in picket fence.

Martha Stewart Cabinets

After multiple in-home estimates from several different companies with several different approaches, we decided to just, “go for it!” So, we are ripping the entire kitchen out and starting anew! Refacing our existing cabinets proved to be the least cost-effective option for us, considering all the other work we had to do. Project get-a-dishwasher has now turned into a major kitchen overall, but I couldn’t be more excited.

We settled on the OxHill Door Style to match the 1920s feel of our house.

Our hardware!

In the next month, Jon and I must pick out our flooring, appliances, backsplash, lighting fixtures, sink, faucet, and granite. It’s going to be a busy month! The possibilities are endless! Unfortunately, our budget is not not (as Jon so frequently reminds me!). So, the trick will be to create a budget-friendly space with functionality and style! My head is spinning!
